Emergency Health Intake
When a woman arrives, often after months or years without proper care, we provide immediate health screening, urgent referrals, medication support, and a private, safe environment to discuss her needs.

We help cover wellness visits, prescriptions, transportation to appointments, and a dedicated advocate who helps her understand medical options, insurance, follow-ups, and available community services.

Confidentiality is our baseline. Health information is never shared publicly, and every survivor receives private, trauma-informed support. We use secure intake procedures, protected records, and strict staff guidelines to ensure every woman can seek care without fear, judgment, or exposure.
Your sponsorship helps cover wellness screenings, counseling support, prescriptions, transportation to appointments, follow-up care, and essential health supplies. It also supports the trained advocates who help survivors understand their options and access the care they need safely.
Yes. Suzy's Place is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All monetary contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by US law. You'll receive an email receipt immediately and a year-end summary in January.
Privacy is non-negotiable. Many videos use silhouettes, changed names, voice protection, or women who have safely transitioned and given written permission to share their journey. We never reveal private health details, active case information, or anything that could identify someone currently receiving care.
Some smaller or private companies have matching programs not yet in our database. If you can't find yours, contact your HR department for their "Charitable Match Form." We can provide any 501(c)(3) documentation they require to process it manually.
We are 4-star rated by Charity Navigator and undergo a full external audit annually. Our impact reports show how donations support direct care, health advocacy, counseling access, prescriptions, wellness supplies, and appointment support for the women and families we serve.
