Yes. Suzy's Place is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all monetary contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by US law. You'll receive an email receipt immediately and a year-end summary in January.
Absolutely. Monthly donations help us plan grocery orders weeks in advance, which means more food for less money. You can choose your amount and adjust or cancel it anytime from your donor dashboard.
Your donations directly support meals served at our shelter kitchen, weekly grocery bags for families in transition, school lunchboxes for children in our care, and formula & baby food for infants. Every dollar helps women and families rebuild with dignity.
Yes. Drop-offs are accepted Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm at our Chicago location (6425 N Rockwell St). Most-needed items: rice, pasta, canned proteins, baby formula, and fresh produce.
Every donor receives a monthly impact email with the exact number of meals their gift provided, photos from the shelter kitchen, and links to our annual financials.
